We're here for you
Therapy works best when it’s built on trust and communication. If something feels off, we encourage you to talk with your therapist — most concerns can be worked through together.

If you ever feel the need to take a concern further, you have the right to file a formal complaint with the State of Texas. Required information for that process is listed below.

And if your experience has been helpful and supportive, we’re always grateful when clients share that feedback or recommend our practice to others.

No matter the reason for reaching out, your perspective matters, and we’re here to listen.

Concerns About Business Practices

Good Faith Estimates for Self-Pay Clients
At Shine On Counseling, we believe transparency around the cost of care is an essential part of ethical and supportive treatment.
In accordance with the No Surprises Act, clients who are not using insurance are entitled to receive a Good Faith Estimate, which outlines the expected costs of services.
A Good Faith Estimate is provided to all self-pay clients as part of the intake process and is reviewed and acknowledged with your initial paperwork. This helps ensure you have clear information about fees before services begin.
If you have questions about your estimate or would like an updated copy at any time, please feel free to reach out.
For more information about your rights under the No Surprises Act, visit: https://www.cms.gov/nosurprises
We’re committed to making mental health care clear, accessible, and straightforward — no surprises, just care.
